Stacy T. Shaw

Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor in Learning Science & Technology and Psychological and Cognitive Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. My research focuses on teaching and learning in math and statistics, with a focus on creative thinking in mathematics. Recently, I have begun to study the role of rest in college student wellbeing.

I am an Ambassador for the Center for Open Science, Catalyst for the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences, on the steering committee for EdArXiv, and was the past President of Psychology In Action. I am also a part of the Better Book research team for the Coursekata project.
